BlackBerry Priv - BlackBerry’s first android smartphone:

Blackberry Priv has been released in India, and if you are looking forward to buying this then you have to pay the price around Rs 62,990 which is mainly $923 which is too high and in the U.S. it is around $699 which is also considered very high for this smartphone. This Smartphone will be sold through offline and from Amazon from Saturday. BlackBerry Priv comes in a Black color option. Overall it is a BlackBerry Secure Smartphone Powered by Android.

BlackBerry PRIV has a 5.4 inch display(147×77.2×9.4mm) with curved edges and a QHD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. It also has 540 ppi pixel density which is quite high and makes it one of the high-end phones.Now talking about the eye catching design feature, The QWERTY keyboard which is a slider. PRIV gives you the freedom to choose between a virtual keyboard or a physical keyboard for speed and accuracy. Snap the slider open to gain back screen space and reveal a full physical keyboard. BlackBerry PRIV runs on Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core( Dual-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A57 & Quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53) processor and Adreno 418 as it Graphics Processor. It has 3GB of RAM and is available in a 32GB memory model. It is expandable up to 200GB via microSD card. 

OS:

PRIV is the first phone by BlackBerry to run on Android OS instead of BlackBerry OS. It features Android v5.1.1 Lollipop. With the change of OS comes the question of privacy and security, which has been BlackBerry’s essential part in manufacturing a phone. PRIV comes with DTEK, which is a warning app system designed to boost privacy. BlackBerry has a Google Playstore and all the other Google Bloatware which gives it a full android experience unlike BB10 OS which only worked for few android apps.
